Music – Plastic Wheel
This is a song I wrote about how much records meant to me when I was a kid. I had no idea how they were made and how they got the music to sound so good. I thought songs were created by some kind of divine right and of course many of the great songwriters like Brian Wilson do say that the best ones simply arrive – they just come through them. I had to work at this one, and I didn’t want it to have any kind of predictable form. Live drums recorded at The Power Station in Fort Lauderdale played by the most excellent Paul Davis during the Bronx Tale tour. Mixed by Ted Spencer and I at Ted Spencer recording on west 72st in NYC – the old hood.
Arrangement sounds great! Solid track!
I like this song!
